Professor Wang is a Ph.D. Advisor at the College of Economic and Social Development, Nankai University. Her main research areas are Industrial Economy, Industrial Policy, and Traffic Economy
Since 1989, she has worked in the Institute of Transportation at the School of Economics, and at the College of Economic and Social Development. Both institutions belong to Nankai University.
She was promoted to Associate Professor in 1997.
She was promoted to Professor in 2004.
She was in charge and participated in a large number of national, provincial and ministerial level projects (including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Social Science Fund of China, the World Bank, the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Science and Technology and Tianjin, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi Provincial and Municipal Governments).
Her researches were awarded with the third prize for Scientific Research (National Development and Reform Commission), third prize for Excellent Research (Tianjin Health and Education Department), second prize for Professional Scholarships (Nankai University), an award for Social Sciences Research (Nankai University) and Excellent Research Award (Nankai University).
Professor Wang published more than 30 academic journals published at home and abroad, and ten monographs.
