Fields:Regional Economics

Wang Jiajia is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the China Urban and Regional Economic Research Center of the College of Economic and Social Development at Nankai University. His research interests include urban and regional economy, land and real estate economy, regional education and cultural industry. He has published over a hundred papers in journals such as Environmental Science and Pollution Research, China Economic Review, Economics (Quarterly), China Industrial Economy, and Quantitative Economic and Technological Economic Research. He has written 7 monographs and 3 textbooks, including Theoretical and Empirical Research on Urban Sprawl in China during the Rapid Urbanization Period and Research on Spatial Agglomeration of Regional Industries, and published with People's Publishing House and Economic Science Press, among others. He has hosted 8 provincial and ministerial level projects, including the National Social Science Foundation and the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Planning Fund of the Ministry of Education. He received the second prize of the 17th Tianjin Social Science Excellent Achievement Award.
