After more than 20 years of rapid development, CESD has established doctoral degree programs in three disciplines:
regional economics, industrial economics and logistics.
The Master of Logistics program aims to equip students with the theoretical basis of logistics and the ability to conduct research on theoretical frontiers and major practical problems.
a. Logistics industry analysis and planning
Research mainly focuses on the policy, organisation and efficiency of the logistics industry. It also covers the theory and methodology of regional logistics planning.
b. Logistics operation and supply chain management
Research focuses include logistics and supply chain operation and management, logistics enterprise operation and strategy, supply chain design and coordination, and supply chain network layout and optimization.
c. Transportation economy and management
Studies the operation, competition and investment decisions of transportation enterprises, as well as the organization, structure, layout and policies of the transportation industry.
d. Logistics system optimization
Research mainly focuses on the theory, method and application of logistics system optimization, including low-carbon smart logistics system modelling and algorithm optimization, logistics big data system integration and simulation, and its application in urban logistics, port and shipping logistics and other fields.
