The list of the Tang Lixin Outstanding Teacher Development Fund award of Nankai University was announced. A total of three teachers from the College of Economic and Social Development have obtained an award. Among them, Professor Li Lanbing and Professor Li Xiang won the Outstanding Scholar Award (10 in total), and Mrs. Zheng Ying won the Outstanding Management Service Award (10 in total).

The College of Economic and Social Development has a faculty of 19 full-time members, and its per capita output level in scientific research has been maintained at a high level during the last years.

In 2020, our College achieved many scientific research results: three major projects approved by the National Social Science Fund and major research projects in the humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, three outstanding scientific research achievements awards for colleges and universities of the Ministry of Education, 18 fund projects at national and provincial level; 29 advisory suggestions were submitted, 6 of which were approved by the national and provincial governments. A total of 8 awards for outstanding decision-making consulting research in Tianjin; 54 papers were published.

Adhering to the concepts of openness, innovation, cooperation and development, the College of Economic and Social Development has been working hard in order to build a leading economic research platform, an influential high-end think tank and a worked hard and forge ahead to build a leading domestic applied economic research platform, an influential high-end think tank platform and a model for high-level academic exchanges.
