From November 28th to 29th, the 16th Logistics Systems Engineering Seminar and the 4th Management Systems Engineering Symposium was held in Chongqing. The event was sponsored by the Logistics Systems Engineering Committee of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering , the Chinese Society of Management Science and Engineering, the Journal of Management Science, the Journal of Systems Engineering, the Journal of Systems Management and the Journal of Management Engineering, while the host institution was the Chongqing Jiaotong University.
Professor Yang Shanlin, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Professor Liu Zuoyi, Director of the Department of Management of the Chinse NNSF; Professor Meng Qiang of the National University of Singapore, Prof. Hongliu, Editor-in-Chief of Operations Research, Associate Editor-in-Chief of Management Science and Professor of Fudan University, and more than 800 famous experts and scholars from more than 200 universities, research institutes, and enterprises were among the attendees.
Professor Xiao Jianhua, Director of the Modern Logistics Research Center of our College, was re-elected as a member of the Logistics Systems Engineering Committee of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering and was part of the judging panel of the doctoral students' forum.
Researcher Fu Bing, Vice President of Jingdong Group and External Supervisor of Master of Logistics Engineering of our school, delivered a report entitled "Intelligent Logistics in the 5G Era".
Jia Nan, a graduate student from our Logistics Master's Degree Program, made a presentation entitled "Joint Dispatch Optimization Study on New Bicycle Delivery "and won the "Best Report Award."
Dr. Ping Chen, a part-time lecturer of our Modern Logistics Research Center, as well as Dr. Xiaoyang Liu, and Danyang Tian, a graduate student, were invited to attend the conference and conduct academic exchanges.
This conference is one of the most important academic events in logistics systems engineering. Several specialists reviewed, exchanged, and summarized the critical achievements and future development.
