The Nankai College of Economic and Social Development Academic Auditorium was held on November 6. Professor Pang Ruizhi and Professor Zhang Gui gave lectures on "Industrial Big Data and Enterprise Data Transformation"  and "Decision-making Consulting Services and Report Writing" respectively .

Professor Pang gave a detailed explanation about the classification and structure of industrial Big Data and its usage, the differences between Big Data and Internet Big Data, the value of enterprise applications as well as other aspects of Big Data. She cited the importance of working with Big Data on the operation and production of economic agents' management to face the problems with the enterprises and their digital transformation.

Professor Zhang Gui introduced teachers and students how to write a capital advice report from five perspectives: problem-oriented, goal-oriented, leadership perspective, theoretical support, and realistic approach.

This lecture was an integral part of a series of academic activities from different majors, which will be held afterward.
The above-mentioned activity demonstrates how our College integrates teaching, research, and practice, following one of the Nankai mottos “know China and serve China.”
