Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, the United Front Work Department of the Pudong New Area District Committee has been working restlessly.

Apart from their own duties, members of the department took other responsibilities. Collecting money and other materials was one of them. So far, the directors and members have donated a total of about 3.554 million RMB. The number of masks is around 38,000 masks, while 1,200 pieces of protective clothing, 212,000 gloves, 7169 sets of goggles were also collected.

Deputy Deng Wei, in collaboration with Intec Engineering Consultants (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. organized donations for more than 104,000 RMB to the Wuhan Red Cross and the Union Hospital.

Trustee Hu Honghui ’s Xinye Technology Group donated 1 million RMB, 15,000 N95 masks, and 200 pieces of protective clothing on behalf of the Shanghai Paipai Loan Company.

Director Li Gang's Shanghai ABB Engineering Co., Ltd. donated RMB 1 million and 10,000 N95 masks. Director Pan Cong from Dragonfly FM also donated 1,000 FFP2 masks.

Shen Jie, from Mo Pan Technology, donated 200,000 professional medical testing gloves. Lu Qi, a member of the Qiming Young Doctors Public Welfare Development Center, donated 7,169 sets of goggles, 12,180 masks, 1000 protective clothing, 5000 pieces of isolation clothing, 12,000 rubber gloves and 500 bottles of disinfectant.

Zhan Xu from the Volvo Group donated 2 million Swedish kronor (about 1.45 million RMB). In addition, President Huang Weiguang, Chen Xin, Jing Li, Hong Xuanxuan, Zhu Xiaoqing, Dong Yueying, Gu Minzhi, and other members and members donated about 84,000 RMB through various channels, more than 7,000 masks and more than 500 protective clothing.
