On the afternoon of January 2, 2020, a meeting was held in the conference room B110, administrative staff and faculty of the college were among the attendees. Zhang Yang, Director of the School Organization Department read out the document for the appointment of Professor Li Lanbing as Vice Dean of the College of Economic and Social Development.

Professor Li expressed her gratitude to Nankai University. She stated that she is confident in her future work and promised to continue working for the development of the college and Nankai University. Professor Li plans to work on the basis of the traditions of our college but also focusing on the future.

Professor Bai Xuejie delivered a speech on behalf of the Dean of the college. She hopes that Professor Li could maintain the unity among the staff and faculty, take advantage of the existing resources and be bold in exploring new issues, which could contribute to the promotion of the Double First-Class initiative.
