On October 17th, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Nankai University, our College organized a series of activities, including an alumni welcome meeting, a visit to the new campus, and reception dinners. More than 100 alumni from all over the world came back to their alma mater to celebrate the 100th anniversary with their teachers and former classmates.
The dean of our College, Professor Liu Binglian started the welcoming activity and gave a speech. Afterward, teachers and students share their memories and recalled what happened the last years.
In the afternoon, the alumni witnessed the rapid development of their alma mater. They had the opportunity to visit the facilities of the new campus including the new library, the Student Activities Center and the Mati Lake.
It is worth mentioning that the students of the College of the Economic and Social Development participated in the whole process of the celebration activities, promoting the Nankai spirit.
