On June 22nd, an alumni association event of our Nankai-Flinders MHA program was held at the 2nd floor of the Taishan Hall of the Vision Hotel in Beijing.
Professor Liang Wannian, director of the Health System Reform Department, Professor Liu Binglian, Dean of the College of Economic and Social Development, Mr. Dong Sibin, Health Chief Supervisor of the Beijing Municipal Health and Mr. Bao Ming, President of the Beijing MHA Program Alumni Association were among the attendance and delivered speeches. Ms. Wang Yufei, an alumna of the MHA Program and editor-in-chief of Health New Era, attended provided media support for the event.
During the event, Professor Liang gave a lecture about Hospital Management under the new medical reform policy. In his lecture, Professor Liang spoke about his years of experience in the medical field, shared his thoughts on the problems raised by the medical reform during the last decade and the future development of the medical reforms.
At the end of the lecture, the alumni had the chance to interact with Professor Liang, who answered many questions related to hospital management. As a conclusion of his lecture, Liang encouraged everyone to be eager to learn in order to benefit the people.
Nankai University has been cooperating with Flinders University since 2003 when both institutions hold a master's degree program in Hospital Management. In the past years, this program has trained more than 2,300 professionals from all over China.
