Geoffrey Hewings, Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Illinois at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, was appointed as Adjunct Professor of Nankai University’s College of Economic and Social Development and Honorary Director of China Regional Economics Application Laboratory on July 10th. The appointment ceremony was hosted by Prof. Yingjun Wang. The Dean of the College of Economic and Social Development Prof. Binglian Liu delivered a speech and presented the appointment letter and the school badge to Prof. Hewings.

After the ceremony, Prof. Hewings gave a lecture titled Income Distribution Dynamics: A New Approach using a Bayesian Estimation of Labor Demand by Age and its Application to an Input-Output Model.
