On August 17, the sixth Xiang Zhang Economics Seminar (Tianjin) was successfully held at Nankai University. The forum received support from prominent journals such as Social Science Journal, Urban Issues, and Nankai Economic Studies, attracting nearly one hundred participants to the event.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Zhou Mi, with a welcome address delivered by Professor Liu Weilin, Vice President of our institute. The forum, centered on the theme of "High-Quality Development of Metropolitan Regions and Urban Agglomerations," featured three sub-forums: "Regional Green Development," "Digital Economy and Regional Innovation," and "Regional High-Quality Development." Journal editors provided valuable advice to young scholars on writing and publishing their research from the perspective of editorial offices.
