Recently, the Graduate School of Nankai University released the list of Outstanding Graduate Courses for 2024. Following unit nominations, expert reviews, and panel discussions, the university approved 9 demonstration courses, 5 online demonstration courses for professional degrees, and 31 core professional courses.

From our institute, Professor Liu Weilin’s course “Transport Economics” and the course “Applications of Machine Learning in Economics” co-taught by Associate Professor Zhou Yulong and Ms. Li Na were selected as Outstanding Graduate Courses.

Moving forward, our institute will continue to optimize the curriculum system with a focus on student development and the needs of the economy and society. We will encourage faculty to integrate the latest research findings into teaching content, enhance course integration across disciplines, and aim to build more high-quality, interdisciplinary courses. By enriching teaching methods and resources, we strive to further improve the quality of graduate education and talent development at our institute.
