Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) announced the review results for the 2025 general project applications, and three research projects from our institute have been awarded funding. These include one General Program project (Principal Investigator: Xiao Jianhua) and two Young Scientists Fund (Category C) projects (Principal Investigators: Guo Jiahong and Sun Pengbo).

The NSFC is one of the most important indicators of academic standards and research strength. In recent years, the institute has attached great importance to project applications and has achieved remarkable success in securing national-level research funding. Moving forward, the institute will continue to foster a stronger research platform and environment, providing comprehensive support in areas such as faculty evaluation, project guidance, application services, and follow-up support. It will also guide and encourage faculty members to ground their research in China’s realities and strive to produce more high-quality research outcomes.
