On November 29, 2025, the "Academic Conference on Digital Economy, Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Innovation and Development" was successfully held at the Balitai Campus of Nankai University. The conference was hosted by the College of Economic and Social Development of Nankai University, the Frontiers Science Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of Nankai University, and the Cross-Science Center for Digital Economy of Nankai University, co-organized by the Institute of Industrial Economics of Nankai University, the Enterprise Research Center of Nankai University, the Institute of Transportation Economics of Nankai University, and the Professional Committee of Industrial Economic History of the Chinese Industrial Economics Association, and supported academically by journals such as *Reform*, *Hebei Academic Journal*, *Nankai Economic Studies*, and *Nankai Journal (Philosophy, Social Sciences)*.

Nearly 200 experts and scholars from universities and scientific research institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Renmin University of China, Sun Yat-sen University, Zhejiang Gongshang University, Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, and Tianjin University of Commerce participated in this conference.
With the theme of digital economy, artificial intelligence and industrial innovation and development, this conference aims to further implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, gather the wisdom of experts and scholars at home and abroad, promote and deepen the relevant research on China's digital economy, artificial intelligence and industrial innovation and development, give full play to the huge enabling effect of digital economy and artificial intelligence, and provide advice and suggestions for accelerating industrial innovation and development and promoting high-quality economic development.

This forum set up five parallel sub-forums.
