Recently, a delegation led by Ma Chaolong, former President of Bank of China Tianjin Branch and former Chairman of BOC Samsung, visited our college. Professor Liu Binglian, Dean of the college, and Professor Liu Weilin, Vice Dean, received the delegation.

Professor Liu Binglian introduced the overview of the regional economics, industrial economics, and logistics disciplines of the college, the construction of the think tank, and the achievements made in serving the economic and social development of the country and Tianjin. Professor Liu Weilin focused on introducing the progress of the college's big data platform and the development of regional industrial large models.

Ma Chaolong pointed out that the applied economics discipline of Nankai University enjoys a high reputation in the country and is a world-class academic highland. Bank of China is also committed to serving social and economic development and providing advice and suggestions for the government. In the future, it is necessary to strengthen long-term cooperation with Nankai University in scientific research, talent training, and providing advice and suggestions, so as to jointly promote regional industrial development. The two parties discussed the specific directions of future research in fields such as government financing and financial innovation.
