On November 3, 2025, Professor Peter Shi from Macquarie Business School, Macquarie University, Australia was invited to visit the "Nankai CESD Young Scholars Salon" and gave an academic lecture entitled "Strategies for Publishing in International SSCI Journals: Insights from the Perspective of an International Editor". The lecture was presided over by Professor Xiao Jianhua, Director of the Modern Logistics Research Center of Nankai University, and teachers and students related to the logistics discipline participated in the lecture.

First of all, Professor Peter Shi introduced how journal editors prioritize papers according to implicit criteria during the review process; then, he deeply analyzed the multi-level meanings of review comments and explained how to formulate targeted revision plans. Finally, combined with cases, in response to the increasing trend of interdisciplinary research, he provided scientific guidance for teachers and students to find suitable publication platforms among different disciplines. In the interactive session, teachers and students conducted in-depth discussions on SSCI journal paper publication.
Professor Peter Shi is currently the Director of the Supply Chain Management Discipline for Master of Business at Macquarie University, Australia, Doctoral Supervisor, Chairman of CILT-A New South Wales, Australia, and also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Monash University, Australia, and a Reviewer for the University Grants Committee of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He has published more than 70 papers in ABDCA/A*, ABS 3/4 and other journals, and published 3 monographs. He is the Editor-in-Chief in the field of CIE, Associate Editor of BSE and AJM, and a permanent member of the Editorial Board of JOPM, TRE, JPSM, JPDLM, JLM, and Guest Editor of journals such as JBL, JPR, UPDLM, UTM, JGM, and CCSM.
