Recently, to accelerate the construction of the "AI+" think tank and empower the think tank research on the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, our college officially signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd. during the Yunqi Conference. Liang Qi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nankai University, and Xu Shijun, Vice President of Alibaba Group, attended the event and witnessed the signing. Professor Liu Binglian, Dean of our college, and Song Qihua, Vice President of Alibaba Cloud and General Manager of the Science, Education and Livelihood Business Department, signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of both parties.
On the basis of full prior consultations, CESD and Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd. unanimously decided to carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei large model, urban spatial big data, and "AI+ discipline construction". Relying on Nankai University's scientific research advantages in regional economics, industrial economics, logistics engineering and management, and Alibaba Cloud's technological advantages in cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence, the two parties will jointly carry out project research, platform construction, and talent training, and jointly explore new ideas and models for empowering discipline development and think tank construction through artificial intelligence and big data.
